My (very personal) Change Thanks to Maum Meditation #1: Everything is my fault

"내탓이다"
The four characters in this picture means:
It's my fault.

This is the biggest and the most incredible realization
I experienced through Maum Meditation.
As I looked back at my past life, I could really see how horrible and selfish I have been
and that everything, I mean literally everything, is my fault.

I'm infinitely grateful

Throwing away the false mind enabled me to look myself
from a perspective which is absent of my self.
Thanks to/through the method of Maum Meditation,
I could realize that everything is my fault and also throw away all that false mind I hid.

"Everything is my fault because there is me"

                                                              - Woo Myung

Everything is entirely my fault
To see things in this way is my fault
To see things in that way is my fault
Other peoples mistakes are my fault,
And what they do well is also my fault
To think others are doing wrong or well is my fault
Everything in this world is my fault
All the conditions by which the world runs is my fault
It is not the fault of the world,
My ancestors, or my parents,
Nor is it the fault of my husband, or wife,
It is not the fault of my children, or my siblings or friends.
It is not the fault any of the people in the world,
It is all, my fault.
The enemies the people I hate or the people I love
The well off and the not well off
The dirty and the clean,
Everything is my fault
...the rest omitted.

This poem written by Teacher Woo Myung
has been one of my favorites since I truly understood the meaning of "Everything is my fault".

Now I can appreciate people and things, situations and conditions around me.
I can listen to other people, understand and respect them.

This is something I would've never imagined.
I'm truly grateful.

the needlework(by a maum meditation practitioner) in the first picture
is from Teacher Woo Myung's latest book,
which is now #1 Bestselling Book on Amazon.com

The Mind Of Nature - Woo Myung

The Mind Of Nature

The sky is so clear that it is a shade of blue
That appears almost black.
Flowing in the valley between the mountains,
The water in that stone-bedded stream is inexpressibly clear,
And in it, nameless fish dart here and there, playing.

The mountains are high,
And here and there unknown flowers are in bloom.
New leaves are budding on treetops,
And in the mountains, wild herbs are sprouting,
And many fresh shoots can be seen on the hardy kiwi trees.
Following the mountain valley,
I stumble on a patch of wild mountain vegetables.
As I forage for mountain herbs
Seeking out spots yet untouched by people,
The warm sun, the clear air and water
Refreshes my body, worn and stained by the city.
My body feels as light as a feather.
Taking after the surroundings, my whole body is so clean,
And thanks to all the hiking I did in my youth,
I do not tire despite walking up many hills.

I sit on a large rock near the water to eat my packed lunch.
There is a small waterfall close by
And on a slope near the cascade, a bird I cannot identify
Quietly chatters as it flits back and forth.

In spring, there are so many things in the mountain-side
And they are too beautiful to enjoy alone;
The day is warm,
And I begin to wonder how long it has been
Since someone last came by the places I have been.
As these high mountains and secluded valleys are hard to get to,
It made me curious as to whether anyone had ever come.

Climbing higher up the mountain,
I can see there are less leaves growing on the trees,
And a startled mountain deer runs away,
Casting back sidelong looks as it runs.
The animals and vegetation here, in the mountains,
Live generation after generation, just like people.
Without homes, with only their naked selves,
Facing the winds if the winds are blowing,
The rain if the rain is falling,
And the snow if it is snowing.
In the cold if it is cold,
And in the heat if it is hot,
They live without words.

Everything that exists disappears,
Comes again then again, disappears.
But only I know the principle
That the place that they have returned to is the origin,
And it is the origin from whence they came.
Trying to seek and attain something from this transient world,
So many people fight, kill and thieve;
In my eyes, they are truly foolish.

When one has become the mind of nature
And is without blame,
Without envy, jealousy or conceit,
Without judgment of right and wrong,
Discernment of this and that;
When all human minds have disappeared,
It is the mind of nature.

Teacher Woo Myung's Poem "The Mind Of Nature" from his latest book and my favorite book,
"Stop living in this land. Go to the everlasting world of happiness. Live there forever."

This book is now #1 Amazon Bestseller in four categories:
mental health, philosophy, spiritual meditation and self-help. Amazing!

"The mind of nature" is one of my favorite poems from this book.
I especially love the last part;

"When one becomes the mind of nature and is without blame, without envy, jealousy or conceit,
without judgement of right and wrong, discernment of this and that;
When all human minds have disappeared, it is the mind of nature."

Isn't this beautiful? *3*

Both written and drawn by Teacher Woo Myung,

I earnestly respect him and his passion!

I sometimes wonder, how clear and pure mind one should have
that he can write and draw something like this! @.@
I just can't stop watching it.
